EFA Award

The Meyer Senior Living Studio were among the award winners for the 10th Annual Environments For Aging (EFA) Remodel/Renovation Competition for the renovation of the Life Guidance (LG) Dining/Activity Area at Atria Center City in Philadelphia, PA. EFA received 38 submissions under the Single Space category. Eighteen jurors reviewed, scored, and commented on projects—narrowing projects down to a group of finalists. Jurors then had the task of identifying the Top 3 winners, including Meyer. Read More

The 3rd annual InterFace Seniors Housing Northeast Conference came to Philadelphia in November with studio leaders, Daniel King, AIA, Principal and Shannon Remaley, NCIDQ, Director of Senior Living Interiors. Dan led a roundtable discussion on pre and post design/construction analysis and Shannon was a panelist speaking to trends and influences in senior living design in a discussion called, “Design & Build: Projects Redefining Senior Living”. NCIDQ certification is the industry’s recognized indicator of proficiency in interior design principles and a designer’s commitment to the profession. Meyer’s Gabriella Hull, Designer, achieved her NCIDQ certification in 2018. Gabriella is passionate about designing for older adults and dedicated herself to their recognition and integrity. Gabriella has now distinguished herself by demonstrating a specific set of core competencies, supported by verified work experience and a college degree. She has proven her expertise in understanding and applying current codes established to protect public health, safety and welfare, as well as mastery of aesthetic considerations. ABC NJ Project of the Year

Meyer is pleased to announce that its construction partner, Wohlsen Construction, won two awards at the 2nd annual Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter Conference and Expo for its merit shop craftsmanship on Atria Norwood. The new assisted living and memory care community took home an “Excellence Award for Construction Projects over $10 million” and most notably, “Project of the Year”. See more of Atria Norwood
