Meyer Gives Back: Care Cards for Seniors

Share

Card-making from Remaley FamilyWith the COVID-19 pandemic, senior living communities have had to implement strict protocols into place to keep residents healthy, safe and secure to help try and prevent or minimize a potential outbreak. Residents are being isolated to their rooms and activities are being conducted on a 1-to-1 basis or in hallways with proper social distancing protocols in place. On average, 40% of senior living residents say their lonely and that percentage is on the rise with the challenging times they are currently enduring. As such, Meyer provided some sort of relief to residents at Atria Center City and Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel by creating care cards for seniors. While at home and with their families, Meyer colleagues banned together to create and distribute hand written cards to help seniors with isolation and social distancing at their community.
